Benihime Amago was  certified as a Shizuoka Food Selection in 2011. Its flesh is a light salmon pink in color, has a moderate amount of fat, and has no unpleasant odor.

Shiitake mushrooms

The Izu region has a warm climate with plenty of rainfall, making it ideal for cultivation, and so high-quality shiitake mushrooms are grown there. These mushrooms have the thick flesh and exquisite aroma that only log-grown shiitake mushrooms can offer.

Venison from the Izu area is a healthy food with low fat and high iron content. It is aged at the Izu City Meat Processing Center, which is run by the city, and processed under an excellent management system, so you can eat venison safely and deliciously.
